Guesthouse Accommodation in Clonakilty town, West Cork
An Sugán Guesthouse (formerly known as Strand House) is located in the heart of Clonakilty town adjacent to the restaurant in a beautiful Georgian house, which is ideally located near the centre of town.
We have eight comfortable and elegantly furnished en-suite rooms, with full amenities. Our famous full Irish breakfast (and lighter fare) is served every morning. There is much history attached to the guesthouse, which at one time would have overlooked Clonakilty Harbour. The guesthouse was home to Jane Irwin, wife of the Fenian O'Donovan Rossa, and it is said that Charles Stewart Parnell once addressed a crowd from the window.

Room rates include a full Irish breakfast, using only local produce, such as Clonakilty sausages and bacon, O’Neill’s black and white pudding and Shannonvale eggs.
