What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
The room was beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable and warm but good air flow through the windows to cool it down in summer. Good supply of Barry's tea and milk. The windows on the roof over the shower add a ton of extra light to the room. The shower is preset to the perfect temperature and the waterfall shower head is very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful with answering any questions we had.The location is excellent. Close to the bus stop and the centre of town. I would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful and polite staff. Very close to town centre, shops etc. Well looked after always clean and lots of lovely plants outside.

It was clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and nicely designed. Perfectly situated in the center of Clonakilty. It was quiet. Breakfast was really good with a variety of choices.

Return visit, it’s always the best place for us to stay in Clon. Perfect location and a cosy building that celebrates its local historic role. This time the staff went above and beyond to help us on a number of occasions

Everything about our short stay was delightful. The check in process was quick and easy. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Dinner in the pub was very good. I had the seafood pie and my husband had calamari. Our barman Dennis was a dear. We could not ask for more! We would stay here again absolutely.

I have to say that I couldn't have wished for more at An Sugan. The friendly, kind staff, the cleanliness and comfort of my bed and room, the unique and artistic dressing of everything in the guest house not to mention the food which was first class. I was on my own and made so welcome. I would definitely stay again if/when I come to Clonakilty.

I couldn't get the TV to work from my phone but I know I could have asked for help if I'd decided to watch it.

comfortable bed, nice decor , good breakfast .

the room was cold when we arrived and had a slightly musty smell , there were no coffee pods in the room

The best part of our stay was our morning chats with Càit during breakfast. She is a gem!

Our stay was comfortable and the room cozy. Our check in was a bit odd, having to be lead through the dark restaurant below our quarters in order for the key to our room to be retrieved by our hostess vs simply having it on hand at the time we arrived and directing us through the main entrance. Other than that, everything was fine!

The rooms are nice and beautiful and very clean.The restaurant is excellent. The bed is great.

The stairs if you stay on the second floor. There were no coffeecups for the espresso machine.

Perfect location to explore clon and west cork areas, right in the heart of the town can walk to everything. Comfortable bed and spacious room!

Small thing, but no water or tea station and though there was a coffee machine - there was nothing to make a hot drink with. No parking.

Am staying there now over 10 years for the West Cork Rally, the staff are outstanding to work with and very accommodating and very helpful, The food is 5stars and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable and spotless clean. I'd highly recommend this accommodation and restaurant 👌 Denis is brilliant addition to it with his sayings and we call him manwell from faulty towers 😆 🤣 Sinead, Ellie, Pauline are brilliant 👏 I looks forward to seeing them every year. Clean and lovely room, nice design and well furnished. Comfy bed and nice shower to help you relax after a long day. Staff at check-in in the restaurant were very welcoming.

There were no coffee pods provided with the coffee machine. The wifi was patchy (at best) and I was only able to use it for brief periods. The towels were replaced even though I did not place them on the floor (as per the information sheet provided in the room).

Lovely guesthouse, great location, right in the heart of Clonakilty. Room was lovely, food was delicious in the restaurant and breakfast was lovely. Staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend!

The room was gorgeous, with a 19th century aesthetic set around modern comforts. Restaurant was fantastic, with attentive service and incredible food, the charming manager maintained a relaxed and friendly evening.
